Vitamin D, tryptophan and omega-3 to boost brain serotonin during pregnancy and beyond
Vitamin D activates the enzyme TPH2 (tryptophan hydroxylase 2) that converts tryptophan to serotonin – the calming neurotransmitter in the brain. Vitamin D inhibits TPH1, which reduces serotonin in the gut and elsewhere, thus reducing inflammation.
Are vaccine adjuvants – like aluminum – increasing the risk of ASD and AD?In the study "Brain-reactive IgG correlates with auto immunity in mothers of a child with an autism spectrum disorder" the study found that "mothers of an ASD [autism spectrum disorder] child were four times more likely to harbor anti-brain antibodies than unselected women of child-bearing age (10.5 vs 2.6%)." The study also found that nine percent of mothers, with a child who has autism, had anti-brain antibodies and over 50 percent of these mothers were also ANA (Antinuclear Antibodies) positive. ANA is a common marker for auto-immune disorders. Why should this shock you or wake you up from your vaccines are safe and effective slumber? Because, it turns out that aluminum in vaccines, and adjuvants in general, are known to trigger a newly appreciated syndrome of auto immunity called ASIA (Autoimmune Syndrome Induced by Adjuvants).
