Dr. Paul explains that inflammation in the body is both good and bad.In the review article "Inflammation: Depression Fans the Flames and Feasts on the Heat" authors review 200 papers on the topic. They begin with the statement "depression and inflammation fuel one another". Think of inflammation, which can be measured in the blood stream as elevated CRP (C-Reactive Protein) or pro-inflammatory cytokines (like interleukin-6 [IL-6], tumor necrosis factor-alpha [TNF-α], IL-1β, the soluble IL-2 receptor, the IL-1 receptor antagonist [IL-1ra]), as pouring gasoline on the open flame of depression.
The sunshine vitamin D may help alleviate symptoms of autism when taken during pregnancy and when given to children . . .We know that autism is more frequent when there is a history of autism in the family and in families with certain risk factors and genetic vulnerabilities. It is now becoming clear that environmental factors (exposure to toxins and lack of key nutrients) can also trigger autism in those who present these vulnerabilities.
Are vaccine adjuvants – like aluminum – increasing the risk of ASD and AD?In the study "Brain-reactive IgG correlates with auto immunity in mothers of a child with an autism spectrum disorder" the study found that "mothers of an ASD [autism spectrum disorder] child were four times more likely to harbor anti-brain antibodies than unselected women of child-bearing age (10.5 vs 2.6%)." The study also found that nine percent of mothers, with a child who has autism, had anti-brain antibodies and over 50 percent of these mothers were also ANA (Antinuclear Antibodies) positive. ANA is a common marker for auto-immune disorders. Why should this shock you or wake you up from your vaccines are safe and effective slumber? Because, it turns out that aluminum in vaccines, and adjuvants in general, are known to trigger a newly appreciated syndrome of auto immunity called ASIA (Autoimmune Syndrome Induced by Adjuvants).
