Jennifer has been diagnosed with a rare form of eye cancer, which has necessitated the removal and replacement of her eyeball with a prosthetic. For those unfamiliar with her story, I urge you to visit her post here on Substack, where she has bravely shared her journey. 
    The process of recovery is difficult and painful. Jennifer, who provides for her family through her writing, is currently unable to read or write. She now faces not only a health battle but a financial one as well.
