A concrete, optional resource for National Recovery Month — offered alongside, never in place of, professional care.
Earlier this month, I wrote about what National Recovery Month means and why steadiness — one chosen step at a time — matters more than any dramatic overhaul. I said I'd follow up with one concrete resource I'd evaluated that fits that same idea. This is that resource.
To be clear from the start: what follows is not a recovery protocol, and it isn't treatment for addiction, anxiety, depression, insomnia, stress, or any other condition. It's one optional collection of products I reviewed against criteria I relied on throughout my years in practice — nothing more, nothing less. If you or someone you love is in or seeking recovery from a mental health or substance use disorder, the professionals and programs equipped to help remain the right first call. This is simply something some readers may find useful alongside that support.
An Honest Note on the Name
Fullscript, the dispensary platform I work with, currently lists this collection under the name "Addiction Bundle." I want to name that plainly rather than quietly work around it, because I think transparency matters more than a tidier label. Being named that way does not mean the products in it treat addiction — they don't, and no one should read it that way. It's a grouping Fullscript has organized around general nutritional, calm-related, and evening-routine ingredients, and that's the honest scope of what it is.
🌿 What's in the Collection
I evaluated each of these for defined ingredients, appropriate form, and companies whose formulation standards I trusted from my years in practice. Here's what's currently included, exactly as listed by Fullscript:
