Will My New Book Be Censored Too?

The real controversy is the cover-up, not the blacklisted documentary Vaxxed

    Image description

The CDC, WHO, and those whose livelihoods are linked to vaccines, vaccine research, vaccine promotion, and maintaining the status quo about vaccines are doing everything they can to censor the truth.

But legitimate concerns about the safety of our current vaccine schedule are surfacing, in spite of the censorship.
You may not be aware that a senior researcher at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, William Thompson, Ph.D., has publicly admitted that the CDC falsified data about the link between autism and vaccines in African American boys. The press release posted on his lawyers’ website has since been taken down. But it’s still out there. As is William Thompson’s private apology to one medical doctor and research scientist whose career was ended and whose reputation was destroyed.
You also may not know that, while pro-vaccine fanatics insist there is “no proof” that vaccines are linked to autism, hundreds of thousands of parents whose children have autism report watching their children’s health deteriorate after a round of vaccines. Many tell their stories here.
If you’ve had the luxury of not experiencing firsthand the negative health consequences of over-vaccination, you are very lucky.

But, for whatever reason, a growing number of children in America are being adversely affected by vaccines.
We are stepping closer to debunking the oft-repeated statement that “vaccines are safe and effective.”

Full disclosure: I give vaccines in my office every day.

I am an advocate of vaccines.

But I am not afraid to admit what so many doctors already know but are afraid to talk about: not all vaccines are safe for all children.

And some of the vaccines being recommended by the CDC are, frankly, ridiculous.

A new documentary film tells the story of the CDC’s cover-up, exposing how facts were being deliberately destroyed and hidden by the CDC, "Vaxxed: From Cover up to Catastrophe." It was slated to be aired—along with a post-film discussion—at the Tribeca Film Festival, co-founded by legendary actor Robert De Niro.

De Niro originally defended his decision to screen the film, explaining:
“Grace and I have a child with autism, and we believe it is critical that all of the issues surrounding the causes of autism be openly discussed and examined. In the 15 years since the Tribeca Film Festival was founded, I have never asked for a film to be screened or gotten involved in the programming. However this is very personal to me and my family and I want there to be a discussion, which is why we will be screening VAXXED.”

But the Tribeca Film Festival has caved under pressure and canceled the screening

How Much Vitamin D Should I Take?

    Picture

    Vitamin D Deficient Population

Vitamin D deficiency has been linked to heart disease and failure, MS risk, numerous cancers and an increased spread of breast cancer, diabetes and symptoms associated with autism. Yet 75% to 95% of U.S teens and adults have vitamin D deficiency (depending on who’s recommendation you believe).

Inadequate Recommendations Set for Vitamin D

A simple blood test can measure the amount of vitamin D in your blood and supplementation can increase your vitamin D to a healthful level. But how much vitamin D should you take? Current CDC (Center for Disease Control) and AAP (American Association of Pediatrics) recommendations on an adequate blood level, (20ng/ml,) is extremely inadequate, especially if you are of a race with darker skin.

Deficient Population Produces Deficient Normal Level

In the past 20 years of testing vitamin D levels in my practice, nearly everyone is deficient and most are severely so. The average vitamin D level in the population classified as normal is 30-100 ng/ml, but if everyone is deficient, isn’t that “normal” deficient too? For myself, following my vitamin D level it takes at least 5,000 IU daily in order for my level to reach an optimal 50-80 ng/ml. Cancer prevention benefits start at levels 50 ng/ml or above, which should be your low-end goal.

Study with High Dose of Vitamin D

In the study, “Dose and time responses of vitamin D bio markers to monthly vitamin D3 supplementation in overweight/obese African Americans with sub optimal vitamin d status: a placebo controlled randomized clinical trial,” participants were randomly assigned to receive a supervised monthly dose, orally, of vitamin D3 averaging 600 IU/day, 2000 IU/day, 4000 IU/day, or a placebo.

The study found the 2000 IU/day is sufficient in achieving a 25(OH)D level of 30 ng/ml in this population. But more importantly, the 4000 IU/day seems to suppress iPTH or intact parathyroid hormone. All adults should take at least 4,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily.

    Daily Vitamin D - What I Prescribe

    In my practice I’ve had good results prescribing vitamin D3 as follows;

Newborns to 40 lbs (20Kg)     1,000 IU daily
    40 – 80 lbs (20 – 40 Kg)           2,000 IU daily
    80 – 120 lbs (40 – 60 Kg)         3,000 IU daily
Over 120 lbs (over 60 Kg)       4,000 to 5,000 IU daily

Please note, these dosages are much higher than what the CDC and AAP recommends. But it does seem to be what is required to get your levels to 50-80 ng/ml, levels most favorable to promote health and prevent cancer. Consult your physician and have your vitamin D level checked after a couple of months of taking the higher daily dose. Alter the dose if the vitamin D level is too low or too high.

    Sun Does a Body Good

The only natural way to make vitamin D is through sun exposure to skin that hasn’t been protected with sunscreen. Also, don’t be fooled into thinking that drinking milk fortified with vitamin D will boost your level; you would have to drink two gallons a day! Because most of us have low levels of vitamin D and most of us use vitamin D blocking sunscreen, continuing supplementation through the summer months is recommended.

    Quality Vitamin D Supplements

All supplements are not alike. High-quality supplements, like my own DrPaulApproved products, are research-based and formulated medical foods and nutraceuticals. DrPaulApproved Vitamin D-3 5000 Essential, and Vitamin D3 with K2 and the Vitamin D3 drops for those who cannot swallow capsules, will ensure you and your physician will find the right dose to attain the optimal levels of vitamin D to protect your health.
