This is no angelic bill!

I rarely get involved in the process of educating on ballot measures. I truly believe that everyone should have access to basic health care, and in an ideal world, it would be to quality healthcare. Sadly, our healthcare system has been taken over by financial interests and those who desire to have total control of the population. This bill that on the surface, looks like it provided healthcare for all Oregonians, is actually a trap that gives the government almost unlimited control of what healthcare you can get and further erodes the already compromised doctor-patient relationship.

Having grown up in colonial Africa – I am aware of what happens when powerful groups "colonize," meaning take over and enslave people. The most severe version of colonialization was the apartheid system in South Africa. Glyphosate is a widely used herbicide that controls weeds and grasses. It was registered as a pesticide in the U.S. in 1974 and was Monsanto's main profit generator. Monsanto was purchased by Bayer (famous for aspirin). Glyphosate-tolerant GMO seeds for many vital crops grow into plants that can tolerate the spraying of Round-up (glyphosate), and the weeds would die off, resulting in these "lovely" monoculture fields of corn or soy, for example. Insects who tried to eat these crops generally died as their stomachs exploded.
